Ford EcoSport Maintenance Schedule
The Ford EcoSport is a spacious, energetic, and efficient crossover that can help you get around the streets of Delaware, Marion, and Sunbury in style. But in order to ensure that your vehicle is performing at its best and lasting through the years, you’ll want to follow your Ford EcoSport maintenance schedule to stay on top of the important services that this vehicle needs.
Our team at Byers Ford is here to detail the varying services and inspections that make up your EcoSport maintenance schedule so you can plan ahead and keep your vehicle lasting for the years and miles ahead!
Understanding Your Maintenance Schedule
Your maintenance schedule is broken down by miles, and each mileage correlates with a set of services and inspections that you’ll need performed at that time. Mileage is the best measurement because time is tricky based on different driving styles. It’s important to remember that each service will need to be repeated once you’ve hit that mileage interval again (i.e. every 10,000, 20,000, 30,000 miles).
10,000 Miles- At the 10,000-mile mark, you’ll have quite a few services to have performed. This is the mileage where you’ll have your oil changed and tires rotated. You’ll also have a thorough inspection of your exhaust system, braking system, engine cooling system, transmission fluid level, wheels, and steering linkage.
20,000 Miles- On top of everything that’s listed above, you’ll add a cabin air filter replacement to the list.
30,000 Miles- When you reach 30,000 miles, the only new item on the growing list of services is an engine air filter replacement.
100,000 Miles- Everything for the past 70,000 miles is just repeated services. However, at this mileage there are a few new things to add to your list of services. You’ll need to replace your spark plugs and have your orange engine coolant changed. You’ll also have your accessory drive belt inspected (inspect at every interval until replaced).
150,000 Miles- At this epic service interval, you’ll pretty much have every service performed, but a few important ones will be added to the list. At this point, you’ll have your accessory drive belt replaced if you haven’t already. You’ll also replace your oil pump drive belt.
This interval will also result in another orange engine coolant change and having your timing belt replaced.
