Founded in 1897, Byers' service to the transportation needs of central Ohio pre-dates even the invention of the automobile. What most folks don't realize is that Byers' first involvement in transportation was in selling horses and buggies to the traveling public in the late 1800s. In 1929, we were one of the first companies to embrace what was then the revolutionary technology of gas powered horseless carriages - or automobiles.
